Joined: Sep 16, Messages: 5 Likes Received: 1. Hello, I tried a lot of tutorials to burn xgd3 games but all does't work. I burned the games with verbatim dvds but I always get a "dirty disc" error. Tried burning the game again downloaded from other site and exactly the same problem at the same point ingame and on installation.

I don't know if it is a problem with my Hitachi drive, the dvds, the burner I don't now what's wrong. Could be the Hitachi drives laser failing. Can you fully install XGD3 games you have burned in the past? Can you install any legit games?

What's your info on truncating,i was under the impression not to do it on xdg3 or there'd be issues. Read tuts on burning xdg3 games in xbox tut section. As for not playing god on external are you sure,pretty sure you can. Edit: If someone else thinks I'm wrong for assuming that he wants to play on live with burned discs, feel free to say so.. If you have an account, sign in now to post with your account. Burned truncated ImgBurn. Burn verified ImgBurn. Loads on no problem. Plays from disc with no problem. Installs to HDD with no problem. Won't play from HDD, disc still spins.

Same results with both Verbatim and Memorex. Tonight I think I will install it from the retail disc, and see if it will run from the HDD using the truncated disc. My Gears 3 retail game spins initially despite being installed.

It actually makes my system sound like a jet as well. The spinning and the roaring of the jet engine stops whenever I get into a multiplayer game and it doesn't start back up.
