Participating in the event raises a player's reputation with The Gree Enclave. The event runs for two weeks from 12 February through 26 February For the modern Gree, the starship has come to be known as ' Gray Secant ,' and carries an almost religious significance.
Having long forgotten the techniques and intentions of their ancient predecessors, the Gree can only look back on their ancestors' works with deeply-felt reverence and do their best to keep them functional. The reappearance of this unfathomably sophisticated starship is incredibly exciting for the Gree, and they want to do anything they can to further Gray Secant's now-mythic purpose. Since the starship seems to have taken an interest in Ilum's battles between the Republic and the Empire , the Gree have reached out to exceptional individuals from both factions, offering lavish rewards for those who travel to Ilum's battlegrounds to fight and provide data for the Secant's grand mission of galactic analysis.
Here is a sample of the rewards available! There are quite a lot, especially if you decorate strongolds. There are two mounts you can earn for Snow-Covered Parcels :. Packed with presents, the Sleigh I mount is requires relatively few parcels, but is still a lot of fun! Finally I got enough parcels to bag the last speeder mount. The Czerka LD-1 Celebrator comes with festive lights and a funnel spouting snow. There are various stronghold decorations available, but I only have shots of these ones at the moment.
There are three different Holo-Trees available red, green and blue but I think I only have two of them. Here are the images taken from the Master of Ceremonies vendor on-fleet. You will find other vendors elsewhere in-game but they all have the same stuff as far as I can tell. So your group will almost always ignore that mechanic and simply keep attacking the boss.
Throughout the fight, smaller glowing enemies will also appear. These will happen around the same time as purple buttons happen but not every purple button time. Some groups choose to attack the additional enemies first, or they click the purple buttons first. Either way, keep your eyes on the buttons and make sure to go click one after or before the smaller enemies are dead. During the fight the boss will also cast Thermal Tolerance on the tank on the boss.
There are two ways to handle this, you can simply heal through it. Or the tank can quickly run behind a pillar, possibly even starting running before it starts if they get the timing right, as running behind the pillar will break the Thermal Tolerance cast. In Story mode you will probably just heal through it. He will be shooting a painful laser beam randomly at different members of the party.
The tanks should do their best to swap their taunts when he randomly selects a non-tank so that he mostly blasts the tanks instead who have more defensive stats.
The first set of purple buttons appears a few seconds in to the fight, so make sure your team knows to start near their button and to be ready to click it fairly soon.
Having one person straggle holds up the entire group. Ranged should be standing right beside their button ready to go. If you are having trouble identifying where your button is because the pillars are identical, look for the gap between the pillars at the front of the room where the blue entrance door is to orient yourself.
If a purple button is unpressed when team mates got lost, you can call out for a specific player to go and press it. Players who have a sparkly set of orange lights around them have already pressed a button and can not press a second one, so look for a player who does not have those sparkles to call out by name to click the last purple button. Thermal Tolerance is the biggest difference in Veteran mode. To stop this nasty cast, about 15 seconds after purple buttons are clicked, the tank should run over to beside a pillar and wait there, using any ranged attacks they have and their ranged taunt to keep threat.
As soon as Thermal Tolerance starts, the tank should step behind the pillar, which will break the cast. Ideally, the tank will get little or no stacks of the Thermal Tolerance debuff which looks like an orange flaming shield. In veteran mode, you can not ignore the environmental awareness datacores phase, and your group must quickly switch to the cores and DPS them down.
Just like getting to the core quickly is important, getting back to the boss quickly is also important for pushing more damage on the boss. Ideally, with a good team, you should do two rounds of datacores, and then ignore the third one to focus on the boss and burn him down.

But the helixes are bound…. So u mean we can get 2 gray helix per day? I got 9 on the first day dalies up to ship, WB, Galaxy droid hunt, and then Xenoanalyst. Nope, Gray Helix Components are bound, so you cant send them betwen Alts. This is a repeating event. You also need a very high reputation with the gree to get the weapons. Also, the one time quest to kill him gives you two helixes. Beyond that, only the heroic daily drops a helix. Any info about the 3rd world boss?
The quest for Xeno also gives you some. You have to be flagged to attack a player of the opposite faction. Or a flagged enemy may just run into your AOE. No, they are bound to that character only. Is reputation separate for each toon are is it legacy wide? Legacy Wide. Are the reputation trophies bound? Yes they are, but Reputation is added to all characters on a single server.

Event returns after todays downtime! Some people are selling them, I would keep them stored just in case. Or just 1 week with 6 chars…. Except that rep caps are part of your legacy, so its not like you can grind it out.
Or 6 weeks, because the weekly reputation cap is. Sometime this month but no specific dates at the moment. It is here till Jan 1st. When do you think they will bring this event back?
The event itself is returning in a couple weeks…. Do you have to be 55 to take part in Gree. Are the missions available only during gree event week? Thx for the info. Do the world bosses give rep for every kill, or only one per week? Yeah, I got a ton of rep last time by going on massive WB groups. A few typos that may cause some confusion: 1. The date, that was a year ago the Gree event came back on July 22nd 2.
Remember the Fray. Is it possible that the One Time Objectives are daily missions? I have completed some more times. I doubt it. It would have to be re-balanced for 60, and that will take a while.
They already made them BOL. I think y for Heroic Missions and Bonus series missons. If got what u mean.
